Marie's Village Foundation is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry and organization, with the purpose of
providing care and education for the orphans and
impoverished children of Haiti. The organization was founded by, Marie Yveline F. Adam in February 2010 after witnessing the devastation of the Haiti earthquake on January 12 2010. As a native Haitian, Marie was especially touched by the horror of the already poverty stricken and oppressed Haitian people. It was this driving force that influenced Marie's decision to start this foundation. The deplorable conditions many Haitian children are faced and lived with everyday, was also a motivating factor. MVF is headquartered in Douglasville, Georgia with branches in Indianapolis, Indiana, Miami, Florida and Queens, New York. Marie's Village Foundation has a 501(c)(3) from the United Stated Internal Revenue Service and is also licensed in Haiti by the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Haitian Government.

Marie has had a ministry of caring for destitute Haitian people, in her own home, since the early 1990's. She has taken in a number of children as well as adults who were in need of shelter, tender loving care,as well as providing work opportunities in different capacities while she lived in Haiti.
